Skylet legal
Community Guidelines
What is and is not allowed on Skylet, and how reporting works.
Version of 23 October 2026
1.The idea
Skylet is for people to say things and share them: ideas, pictures, short videos and conversations. Be yourself, be clear, and treat others as you would want to be treated. These guidelines explain what is not allowed. They are part of the Terms of Service.
2.No harassment, hate or threats
- Do not threaten, bully, stalk or repeatedly target someone, or encourage others to.
- Do not attack people for their religion, caste, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, language or place of origin.
- Do not post someone's private information (address, phone number, documents, private photos) without their consent.
3.No violence or dangerous content
- Do not praise, plan or call for violence, terrorism or self-harm.
- Do not post content that threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, or that incites an offence.
- If someone is in danger, contact the emergency services first. You can also report the post to us.
4.Nothing sexual involving children, and no non-consensual intimate images
Any sexual content involving a child is strictly prohibited. We remove it at once and report it to the authorities. Do not share intimate images of anyone without their consent. Pornography and sexually explicit material are not allowed on Skylet.
5.Be honest about who you are and what you share
- Do not impersonate other people, organisations or officials, and do not pretend to be something you are not to mislead people.
- Do not knowingly spread patently false or misleading information that could reasonably be taken as fact, especially about health, safety or elections.
- Do not run networks of fake accounts, buy or sell accounts, or manipulate likes, follows or trending.
6.No spam, scams or illegal activity
- No spam, repeated copy-pasted posts, unwanted promotions or misleading links.
- No fraud, phishing or scams. No promotion of gambling, money laundering, illegal drugs, weapons or other unlawful goods and services.
- Respect copyright and trademarks. Post only what you have the right to share.
7.Use Tap to connect and messages with care
- Only knock phones with someone who has agreed to connect. You can undo a connection straight afterwards.
- Do not use messages to send unwanted contact, spam or threats. People can decline message requests and block you.
8.Reporting and what happens next
To report something, open the menu next to a post, comment, account or message and choose Report. Pick the reason that fits best: spam, harassment or abuse, hate, violence, sexual content, misinformation or something else. Our team reviews every report. We may limit how far a post travels, remove it, restrict someone's messaging, suspend an account or ban it, and we tell people when we act on their content. Serious or repeated breaking of these guidelines leads to a ban. If you disagree with a decision, appeal through the Grievance Officer.
