Grievance Officer

Who to write to about content, your account or your personal data, how quickly we answer, and where to go if you are not satisfied.

Version of 23 October 2026

Draft details. The company and Grievance Officer details this page refers to are still being finalised and will appear here once published.

1.Grievance Officer

The name and contact details of Skylet's Grievance Officer are being finalised and will be published here before launch.

2.What you can bring to the Grievance Officer

  • A complaint about content on Skylet that you think breaks the law or our Community Guidelines, or about a decision we made on your account or content (an appeal).
  • Any problem with how we handle your personal data, and requests under the data protection law: access, correction, erasure, withdrawing consent, nominating someone.
  • A copyright or other rights complaint (see the Terms).
  • A request for a refund of unspent ad wallet or API credit money.

3.How to complain

For content, the quickest way is Report in the menu next to the post, comment, account or message: it goes straight to our moderators. You can also write to the Grievance Officer by email or post. Please tell us: your handle, what the problem is, a link to the content if there is one, and what you would like us to do. We may ask you to confirm it is you before we act on account or data requests.

4.How quickly we respond

  • We acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours.
  • We resolve it within 15 days of receiving it.
  • Where content shows a person in a private area or in a sexual act, or is an image made to impersonate them, and the person or someone for them complains, we remove or disable access to it within 24 hours of the complaint.
  • We act on lawful orders of courts and the Government within the time the law sets.

5.If you are not satisfied

If you disagree with a decision of the Grievance Officer about content, you can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee established by the Government of India under the IT Rules (see gac.gov.in), normally within 30 days of our decision. For personal data, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India after you have first taken the matter to the Grievance Officer. Consumers may also use their rights under consumer protection law.

6.Requests from courts and authorities

Court orders and requests from government agencies and the police should be sent in writing, identifying the authority, the legal basis, the account or content concerned and the officer making the request. We check them and respond as the law requires. Where we are allowed to, we tell the person affected.
