Delete your account

What happens

• Your profile, posts and comments disappear at once and you are signed out everywhere.
• For 30 days we keep your data in case you change your mind. Sign in again within 30 days to cancel the deletion.
• After that your data is erased for good: posts, pictures and videos, comments, likes, follows, friends, messages (the text is erased), notifications and sign-in records. Your handle becomes free again.
• Records we must keep by law (invoices and payment records) stay, without anything that identifies you on your profile. See the Privacy Policy for the details.

You cannot delete your account while you own a Page, have an advertising campaign that has not ended, or hold money in your ad wallet or API credit. Delete the Page or cancel the campaign first. For wallet or credit money, ask the Grievance Officer for a refund.
